30-year old identified from Boulder incident on 08/29/2023

Boulder County, Colo. -

The Boulder County Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of a 30-year-old Caucasian male who was involved in an incident in the 1600 Block of Zamia Avenue in Boulder on 08/29/2023.

At this time, the decedent has been positively identified as Kurt Smolker.

An examination will be completed and the cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.
