Parks & Open Space Rental House Program Solar System Installation and Maintenance Projects

A Mandatory Pre-proposal meeting is scheduled, starting promptly at 9:30 a.m. on August 7, 2025. Interested Parties are asked to meet at 2005 Highway 287, Broomfield, CO 80020. Proposals from Companies not represented at the mandatory, pre-proposal meeting, for each house, and site visit will not be accepted. Companies will be required to sign in at meeting. Please submit company business card with signature to County Representative. Review all attachments prior to Pre-Bid meeting. All questions are required to be submitted through Bonfire to comply with legal requirements.

The Boulder County Parks & Open Space (BCPOS) is soliciting proposals from qualified Solar Companies to provide end-to-end solar energy system installation and maintenance services to six (6) County owned and leased rental houses managed by BCPOS. The selected Contractor(s) will be responsible for providing an initial site assessment, a detailed system design, procurement of all necessary equipment, professional installation of solar panels and battery storage systems, and final commissioning. The selected contractor(s) will also be responsible for all required permits, inspections, and utility interconnection processes, including evaluating and repairing or replacing existing systems.

All houses are located within Boulder County. All services must be completed in a timely, cost effective and quality workmanship manner and meet the Project completion date of December 31, 2025.

At the County’s discretion, the Projects may be separated and awarded among multiple contractors.
