The Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) is soliciting proposals from qualified landscape architecture firms for the design of all landscape and exterior amenity improvements associated with Phase 2 (128 affordable rental homes) and Phase 3 (80 affordable for-sale homes) of the Willoughby Corner neighborhood in Lafayette, Colorado. The selected landscape architect will provide full design services from conceptual design through construction documents and construction administration. The work shall include, but not be limited to: site landscape and planting design, irrigation plans, amenity area and hardscape detailing, conceptual plaza layouts, outdoor seating and site furnishings, and enhanced landscaping at key frontage and entry locations. Coordination between civil engineering and landscape architecture is a critical factor in BCHA’s decision to include landscape architecture within the overall site design scope. The successful firm must coordinate closely with the civil engineer, architect, and other consultants to ensure an integrated and cohesive site design.
