This RFP seeks vendors to design, construct, install, maintain, and operate electric vehicle charging infrastructure for community charging. The selected vendors from this RFP will provide their services to site hosts in Boulder County who choose to offer EV charging. Vendors will provide a turnkey solution by guiding each site host through site assessment, installation, and excellent ongoing maintenance and operations support to ensure stations are safe, reliable, accessible, affordable, and convenient. The vendor’s services will include the operations needed to have high satisfaction rates of the users of the stations and greater than 97% station uptime. This project is funded through the U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Charging and Fueling Infrastructure (CFI) discretionary grant program, authorized under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act). Vendors are responsible for compliance with federal funding requirements, including the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Standards and Requirements under 23 CFR Part 680.
