| Pre-bid Location: | MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting is scheduled, starting promptly at 9:00 a.m. April 4, 2024. Interested Parties are asked to meet at 40000 Boulder Canyon Drive, Boulder, CO 80302 at the trailhead parking near “The Dome” rock climbing area. Entering “Boulder Canyon Trail” in Google Maps will provide the most accurate location. The meeting will last approximately one (1) hour and will require fifteen (15) minutes of walking, each direction. For a map, see Attachment A. All interested Parties are required to Sign-In at the Pre-Bid Meeting and attend the Project Site Visit. Bids from companies not represented or not in attendance at the mandatory, pre-bid meeting, and project site visit will not be accepted. | Other Comments: | Please Note: You must attend the mandatory meeting to bid on this project. The Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department (BCPOS) is seeking bids from qualified and experienced construction contractors for the construction of a retaining structure that will be used to support the trail edge that is sloughing into Boulder Creek. The project site is located at 40000 Boulder Canyon Drive, Boulder, CO 80302. These services are required in order to return the trail to eight (8) feet wide and solve a safety concern. Engineering design has been completed by JVA Inc (JVA). Construction will be required to follow the stamped drawings. A representative from JVA will periodically be on site for construction oversite. A floodplain development permit has been received, as the project is located in the floodway. All work is required to be completed during the 2024 calendar year. Proposals must be submitted electronically on or before the Close Date at https://bouldercounty.bonfirehub.com/. Submissions will not be accepted by email, fax or hand-delivery; unless otherwise noted. Documents should not be embedded within uploaded files, as the embedded files will not be accessible or evaluated. |
