Vaccines for Children Program
The Immunization Program provides routinely recommended immunizations for eligible children from birth through 18 years of age.
Immunizations are available for eligible children aged 0-18 years through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program, which provides immunizations at no cost to children who might not otherwise be vaccinated due to financial limitations.
A child is eligible for the VFC Program if they are younger than 19 years of age AND meet one of the following criteria:
- Medicaid-eligible
- Uninsured
- Underinsured (has health insurance, but vaccines aren’t covered, or only certain vaccines are covered)
- American Indian or Alaska Native
Cost
Vaccines provided through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program are free to parents or guardians—there is no cost for the vaccines themselves. However, a $21.50 administration fee is charged for each vaccine given. No child will be denied services if their family is unable to pay this fee.
Payment can be made by credit card, cash, or check. Please note: a processing fee applies to all credit card payments.
BCPH cannot accept Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) or private insurance.
