Vaccines for Children Program

The Immunization Program provides routinely recommended immunizations for children birth through 18 years of age.

Immunizations are available for children 0-18 years of age through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program, a program that provides immunizations at no cost to eligible children who might not otherwise be vaccinated because of financial limitations.

A child is eligible for the VFC Program if they are younger than 19 years of age AND meet one of the following criteria:

  • Medicaid-eligible
  • Uninsured
  • Underinsured (has health insurance, but vaccines aren’t covered or only certain vaccines are covered)
  • American Indian or Alaska Native

Cost: vaccines through VFC are provided to parents/guardians with no out-of-pocket expense. An administration fee of $21.50 is charged for each separate vaccine given; however, children will not be denied services for an inability to pay this associated fee. Fees can be paid with a credit card, cash or check. A processing fee will be added to all credit card charges.

Note: our program cannot accept Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) or private insurance.

Other Resources

  • Our program cannot accept adult Medicaid or private insurance.
  • Some adult vaccines are available for a fee. See the price list for adults.
