The CU Center for Sustainable Landscapes and Communities invites you to a community dialogue event: Wildfire Management on Open Space Lands in Boulder County.
What steps are local officials taking to reduce the risk of wildfires on our open space lands? How effective are these actions? How do they impact our water quality, native vegetation, and biodiversity? How has the management of our open spaces changed since the Marshall Fire? How is research informing future decisions?
Hear from a panel of local leaders as they discuss efforts to manage wildfire risk in the forests and grasslands surrounding Boulder. There will be opportunity for questions and open discussion about how we can adapt to a future with more fires.
