The Cool Grasses of Boulder County

Description

Have you ever been curious about the different grasses that grow along Boulder County trails? Join volunteer naturalists for a short 2-mile hike at Rabbit Mountain to learn about the early season grasses of the foothills. We’ll search for different grasses, talk about their vital role in the ecosystem and buffering climate change, and explore the area’s special biodiversity values. Look closely and you might just develop a new appreciation of our beautiful, yet often, overlooked grasses!

Registration for most programs begins on the 20th of the month before the event.

Registration required.
