The Boulder County Commissioners announced in August that they will introduce a new, hourly minimum wage of $15.69/hour in unincorporated Boulder County, starting January 1, 2024. County staff has engaged the public, surrounding local governments, and other stakeholders related to a new local minimum wage. Staff will present an overview of the engagement process and possible amendments to the ordinance at the adoption hearing.

ACTION REQUESTED: Adoption of the Ordinance Opportunity for live and in-person virtual public comment will be available, and written comments can be emailed to commissioners@bouldercounty.org. More information and the draft ordinance are available at: https://boco.org/MinimumWage.
