Commissioners’ Office: Establishing Local Minimum Wage Requirements for Unincorporated Boulder County (Ordinance 2023-4)

The Boulder County Commissioners announced in August that they will introduce a new, hourly minimum wage of $15.69/hour in unincorporated Boulder County, starting January 1, 2024. County staff has engaged the public, surrounding local governments, and other stakeholders related to a new local minimum wage. Staff will present an overview of the engagement process and possible amendments to the ordinance at the adoption hearing.
