Celebre el Mes de la Herencia Latina e Hispana con Parques y Espacios Abiertos del Condado de Boulder con un recorrido guiado por Las Barracas, un histórico campamento de trabajadores agrícolas cerca de Longmont. Conozca la historia de los agricultores japoneses estadounidenses que administraron la granja, las familias mexicanas y mexicoamericanas que vivieron y trabajaron aquí, y los esfuerzos actuales para documentar y preservar este importante lugar. Art in the Parks

Take time to look at nature through an artistic lens. Experience an opportunity to sketch the awe-inspiring aspects of our county parks through a process of observation, contemplation, and visualization. Absolutely no experience in the arts is needed. Volunteer naturalists will guide your journey with ideas, some direction, and an opportunity to practice various skills. Through a series of five programs, we will explore basic sketching principles to make your experience unique and fun-filled. Programs will be held on the second weekend of the month, from 10 am to 12:30 pm, at either Walden Ponds or Pella Crossing. Registration required.
