The Boulder County Commissioners invite residents to take a walk with them at the county’s beautiful Parks & Open Space properties this June.Register to walk with Commissioner Ashley Stolzmann Friday, June 28, 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Stearns Lake (Parqueadero, 2190 S 104th St, Broomfield) Before you visit county open space, please review the POS guidelines on recreating responsibly: • “Know before you go." Remember to plan ahead, know your limits, and do not take unnecessary risks. • Enjoy and protect shared public lands. Remember to “Leave No Trace” and pack out all trash and dog waste. • Be courteous and inclusive. People have different reasons for visiting shared public lands and everyone deserves respect and courtesy while recreating outdoors. • Do not park illegally at trailheads. If trailhead is full, make sure to park only on roads where parking is permitted. If you have questions about the walks, please contact Jennifer Churchill in the Commissioners’ Office.
