Each of SCFD’s seven counties receives a share of the collected tax, and volunteer County Cultural Councils make recommendations based on their county’s funding priorities. Based on these recommendations, SCFD makes grants to Tier III organizations, including over 90 organizations serving Boulder County. Hybrid Meeting: In-Person and Zoom Webinar The county commissioners take general public comments on any matter not being discussed in another current public hearing process. Open public comment addressed to the County Commissioners typically occurs at 9 a.m. on the first Thursday of the month unless the date falls on a holiday or needs to be rescheduled due to a calendar conflict. Members of the public can sign up to speak in advance or on the day of public comment. Public comment is taken in-person (in the hearing room) or virtually via Zoom. Check the Commissioners' Advance Agenda to confirm meeting date one week prior to regularly scheduled date. Reserve a speaking spot using the either the "In Person" or "Virtual Attendee" link on the Commissioners' Advance Agenda. Day of Public Comment: Visit the Open Meeting Portal to find the link to join (or sign up to speak) virtually. Each speaker (up to 10 people) will be able to give public comment to the commissioners for three minutes each. Participants will not be able to screen-share but can bring printed materials in person. The NEPPIDAC is an independent committee that provides Boulder County Commissioners with recommendations regarding the administration of the Nederland EcoPass Public Improvement District. While the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has the legal authority and responsibility to make decisions regarding the operation and finances of the District, the Committee members serve in an advisory capacity to the BOCC. The Committee acts as a communication link between the property owners and residents of the District and the BOCC.
