Families will learn about these elusive predators, their adaptability to urban environments, and how they coexist with humans. Volunteer naturalists will reveal the bobcat’s hunting behavior, diet, and territorial habits. 2026 BCCC Study Session Meetings (April 14-May 5) Thanks to our residents, one penny of every $10 spent in the district supports arts, culture and science programming provided by a range of nonprofit organizations through the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD). Each of SCFD’s seven counties receives a share of the collected tax, and volunteer County Cultural Councils make recommendations based on their county’s funding priorities. Based on these recommendations, SCFD makes grants to Tier III organizations, including over 90 organizations serving Boulder County.
