Parks & Open Space Advisory Committee (POSAC) Site Visit

Parks & Open Space Advisory Committee (POSAC) members and attendees will see and talk about fire recovery efforts on Parks and Open Space lands after larger wildfires. Several forestry and local experts will speak about what was done at Heil Valley Ranch after the Cal-Wood Fire, as well as how to prioritize areas for reforestation. The group will visit different sites at Heil Valley Ranch in vans. Attendees will meet at the Corral Trailhead parking lot at 3 p.m. Space is limited. This site visit will not provide an opportunity for formal public comment. The tour is informational only and POSAC will not vote on matters related to this item. Registration is required. Register
