The commissioners will consider the future of Boulder County’s minimum wage, including maintaining the current wage schedule, temporarily pausing the wage schedule, and exploring a lower wage schedule to align with the City of Boulder’s. Community members and businesses are invited to share written comments and feedback with the commissioners through the online form at Local Minimum Wage Feedback or register to speak at the public hearing.
Action requested: Commissioner direction to staff on proposed wage to include for Boulder County’s local wage ordinance first-reading, scheduled for later in 2025
The afternoon public hearings on Oct. 14 begin at 1 p.m. The LMW hearing will follow the 2026 Boulder County Budget hearing.
The public hearing can be attended in-person (3rd floor, 1325 Pearl Street, Boulder), online through Zoom, or by phone.
Spanish interpretation will be available online (through Zoom) and in-person. Registered speakers can share comments in English or Spanish.
