The Colorado Central Regional Plan is Available for Public Comment
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) requires the creation of comprehensive regional and local workforce development plans outlining the workforce development strategy for the area.
Boulder County is a member of the Colorado Central Planning Region (CCPR). The purpose of a planning region is to provide an opportunity for local areas to collaborate on a more formal basis within the larger regional economy. The CCPR includes the counties of Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, El Paso, Gilpin, Jefferson, Larimer and Teller.
The multi-year plan is for July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2023 and is updated annually. Updates to the plan are highlighted in yellow.
Workforce Boulder County is accepting public comment on the proposed WIOA Regional Plan until 3:00 p.m. on April 29, 2022.
