Heil Valley Ranch Forestry Project Community Meeting Monday, Dec. 9

A forestry project will begin later this year at Heil Valley Ranch and will last approximately three months.

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Parks & Open Space staff will begin a forestry project later this year at Heil Valley Ranch that will last approximately three months. A helicopter will be used to remove cut material around the Lichen Loop and Grindstone Quarry trails. The trails will be closed during active operations, Monday through Friday.

A community meeting will be held in Longmont on Monday, Dec. 9, to present the project. Staff will be available for questions.
