Hello -

Tomorrow morning, a helicopter will be used to deliver several utility poles to locations where they'll be installed along James Canyon Drive. Travelers in the canyon can expect delays up to 15-minutes when the poles are brought from town to the install sites. Work will start around 10 a.m. and will take between two and three hours.

Expect single-lane closures along James Canyon Drive between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 23 and 24 to safely accommodate crews working along the road to remove straw erosion protection logs that have been in the area since the flood recovery project. The same crews will also be completing other landscaping work along the corridor.

Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
Have a good day.
