FREE Bicycle-Friendly Driver courses offered throughout the county in May and June

Popular, interactive class aimed at cyclists and motorists of all ages and abilities. Class size is limited, so register today!

Boulder County, Colo. - Due to popular demand and positive feedback, Bicycle Colorado, Cyclists 4 Community, and Boulder County Transportation are offering more classes, this time in Superior, Longmont, and Louisville, for interested cyclists and drivers of all ages and abilities that is aimed at informing both groups how they can safely coexist on the roadway.

Tuesday, May 14 and Tuesday, June 11

A Bicycle Colorado representative will help attendees learn about:

  • Common causes of bike/motor vehicle crashes and how to avoid them;
  • Laws and responsibilities for both travelers;
  • How to navigate on-street bicycle infrastructure; and,
  • Why sharing the road is the safest option for everyone.

All participants receive official Bicycle-Friendly Driver certification from Bicycle Colorado.
The FREE class is being provided thanks to a grant awarded to Boulder County through the Regional Air Quality Council and financial assistance from Cyclists 4 Community.
