Support local gardeners in need and let your gently used tools be reused

Boulder County, Colo. - CSU Extension Boulder County Master Gardeners need the public’s help in fighting food insecurity in our community. Master Gardeners are collecting gently used gardening tools in their Colorado Master Gardener Tool Drive for Garden Share, a project of Community Food Share. This partnership is focused on helping low-income community members learn to grow their own food.

Now through April 15 new or gently used gardening tools, new gardening gloves, or sunhats can be taken for donation to any of the three drop-off locations in Boulder, Longmont, and Louisville.

Any tool commonly used in home vegetable gardens is needed. Trowels, hand rakes, hoes, and shovels as well as hoses in good condition, watering cans, or hose nozzles are all welcome. However, no motorized tools, grow lights, pots or containers will be accepted.

Louisville
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Community Food Share,
650 South Taylor Ave.

Longmont
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Colorado State University
Extension in Boulder County, 9595 Nelson Rd. (on the fairgrounds
in the Natural Resources building)

Boulder
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Clerk and Recorder’s
Office, 1750 33^rd St.
