39-Year-Old Longmont Man Arrested for Sexual Exploitation of a Child

Boulder County, Colo. - On October 8, 2026, 39-year-old Bryan Glyn TYLOR turned himself in on an arrest warrant for twelve counts of sexual exploitation of a child relating to possession of child sexual exploitation material (CSEM) and one count of tampering with physical evidence. The investigation began when detectives at the Boulder County Digital Forensics Lab (BCDFL) received CSEM files from someone in the Boulder County area during a proactive Peer-to-Peer investigation. Peer-to-Peer (P2P) file sharing allows people using special software to download and share files with other users around the world via the internet.

Through investigation and service of court orders on electronic service providers (ESPs), an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigator at the Boulder County Digital Forensics Lab identified TYLOR as a possible suspect and was able to obtain a search warrant for his residence in the 500 block of E. 16th Ave., City of Longmont, Boulder County, CO. Detectives, with the assistance of the Longmont SWAT Team, served the search warrant and seized numerous electronic devices. Examination of the digital evidence resulted in the discovery of thousands of CSEM videos and images, resulting in probable cause to obtain an arrest warrant for TYLOR for possession of CSEM. Additionally, the tampering with evidence charge is related to conduct that the defendant allegedly engaged in when law enforcement first arrived to execute the warrant.

TYLOR, upon being advised of the arrest warrant, turned himself in at the Boulder County jail and is being held without bond (until seen by a judicial officer) for: 6 counts of violating C.R.S. §18-6-403(3)(b.5),(5.5), sexual exploitation of a child – possession of video, a Class 4 Extraordinary Risk Felony; 6 counts of violating C.R.S. §18-6-403(3)(b.5),(5.5), sexual exploitation of a child – possession of images, a Class 5 Extraordinary Risk Felony; and 1 count of violating C.R.S. §18-8-610(1)(a), tampering with physical evidence, a Class 6 Felony.

Agencies who assisted with this investigation include the: Boulder County Digital Forensics Lab, Longmont Department of Public Safety, Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Boulder County District Attorney’s Office, and Boulder Police Department.

The associated Boulder County Sheriff’s Office case number for this investigation is 26-02038.
