Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County is looking for community members to help guide the design of the North Foothills Bikeway, a planned 11-mile biking and walking path along US 36/North Foothills Highway between Boulder and Lyons.
This road has more fatal crashes between cyclists and motorized vehicles than any other road in unincorporated Boulder County. A bikeway next to the road but separated from vehicles will make it safer and more pleasant to bike, walk, and connect to other trails.

The committee will give feedback and ideas to help design a path for people who bike and walk. Residents can apply by Feb. 20 to serve on a Spanish-speaking or English-speaking committee.
