Smoke and Ash Damage: Stakeholder Meeting June 27

Many Marshall Fire survivors are struggling with finding the proper insurance coverage and settlements for their homes that didn't burn down but were extremely damaged by smoke, soot and ash. This is why CO State Representative Kyle Brown helped to bring HB24-1315 forward.

The Colorado Division of Insurance is now hosting a series of meetings this year to make further progress with insurance companies, residents and other groups. The first meeting offered on Zoom is this Thursday, June 27, from 10 - 11 a.m. The Division of Insurance and your legislators want to hear your perspective and concerns.

If you are unable to attend this meeting or future meetings regarding the remediation study, recordings and slide presentations will be available within a week of the meetings at doi.colorado.gov/marshall-fire-response.

For any questions or further information about this meeting, please don't hesitate to reach out to Keilani Fleming at Keilani.Fleming@state.co.us
