The Many Hats of a Ranger

Description

Park rangers wear many different hats in order to perform their work of protecting the environment and helping visitors recreate responsibly in nature. Join us as we learn about what a park ranger does by completing different activity stations related to duties like firefighting, wildlife management, and interpretation as we hike along the 1.7-mile Anne U. White trail. Participants can arrive at the trailhead anytime between 9:30-11:30 and complete the hike at their own pace while stopping at the different fun and engaging activity stations along the way. After completing all of the ranger activity stations, participants will receive a prize! This program is especially geared towards children of any age, but all are welcome to attend.

Registration for most programs begins on the 20th of the month before the event.
