| Pre-bid Location: | A Mandatory, Pre‐bid meeting is scheduled, starting promptly at 9:00 a.m. on June 5, 2024. Interested Parties are asked to meet at the Hall Ranch Trailhead located at 31635 S St Vrain Drive, Lyons, CO 80540; 40.211915, ‐105.288662. This will be an all‐day meeting due to distance between projects and associated drive time. The pre‐proposal tour route involves rough 4WD roads with deep snowpack. Four‐wheel drive vehicles equipped with adequate snow tires and tire chains will be required for this pre‐proposal meeting. The Project Maps, located in the attachments, are geo‐referenced for mobile apps, i.e., Avenza PDF Maps. Potential Cancellation of Pre‐Bid Meeting: If the pre‐bid meeting needs to be canceled due to adverse weather conditions a notification will be published in this posting by 4:00 p.m. the day prior to the pre‐bid meeting date. It is the responsibility of the Proposer to confirm whether the Pre‐Bid Meeting will take place as scheduled. Boulder County does not accept responsibility under any circumstances for Bidders showing up for the meeting if it has been canceled. Bids from firms not represented at the mandatory, pre‐bid meeting and site visit will not be accepted. |
| Other Comments: | Boulder County Parks and Open Space (BCPOS) is seeking formal proposals from qualified forestry contractors to perform ~350 acres of manual fuels reduction work located within the Saint Vrain Watershed on two separate Boulder County Parks and Open Space properties, Hall Ranch and Riverside Ranch/Hansen. The deadline for work to be completed is December 1, 2024. Addresses for properties are as follows: Hall Ranch 31271 CO HWY 7 Lyons, CO 80540, Riverside Ranch/ Hansen 5176 Conifer Hill Road Lyons, CO 80540. This project is funded in part by through a grant from the Colorado State Forest Service for the project Riverside Ranch Fuels Reduction Project (component of Phase 2: SVFHPP (St Vrain Forest Health Partnership Program). The grant agreement number is CSFS Acct # 1929113; Project # 17 and a copy of the grant agreement can be found within this procurement.
