Agriculture Tour

Description

Boulder County Parks & Open Space invites you to take a tour of county agricultural properties on Saturday, Sept. 9.

You will experience a small organic table food farm, a cattle grazing operation, and a large-scale commodity farm. You’ll get to put your feet on the ground, meet the farmers, and hear their stories about the challenges and rewards of farming on Boulder County agricultural land.

We hope you go home with a better understanding of what’s happening on the land, where your food comes from, and the people who make this all possible.

The tour will start and end at the Boulder County Fairgrounds south parking lot in Longmont and travel in an air-conditioned bus with restrooms and a PA system. The tour is free, but registration is required. Space is limited. Walk-ups will not be accepted.

Registration is required through Discover Boulder County, Parks & Open Space’s volunteer and event registration system. If you’re new to the system, you’ll need to create an account.
