Trails/Rescue/Emergency Services Sales Tax Stakeholder Meeting (virtual)

We are seeking input from a broad group of stakeholders who have an interest in enhancing trail and trailhead safety and emergency services in Boulder County. At the end of March, we met with fire districts and available emergency responders to get their input. For our second stakeholder meeting, we’d like to get the perspective of our mountain and rural open space partners, trail users, additional emergency communications partners, responders, and recreational groups.

You or a representative from your organization or group are invited to join us virtually on Tuesday, April 18, 4:30-5:30 p.m. for a brainstorming exercise to aid Boulder County’s leadership in determining the highest priority needs and collaborative opportunities for outdoor recreation, safety stakeholders, emergency responders, and search and rescue organizations. The information gained during this session will inform short-term 1B funding distribution models as well as any proposed grants criteria and review process to be used over the next several years.
