If an event is occurring in Boulder County and county resources are being deployed to address the event (i.e, a wildland fire on county land or private or public land in Boulder County), news and information will be posted on the Boulder Office of Disaster Management’s emergency status page.

Boulder County Sheriff utilizes an emergency notification system that allows residents of the county and incorporated cities to be notified of emergency situations. Notifications can be received in a variety of ways, including cell, home and work phones, and by text messaging and/or email.
