DART online donations website now available to list individual donation items and services for impacted Marshall Fire residents

New platform connects individual donors and public donations with organizations to directly assist residents

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County, in cooperation with many local and state agencies, has launched an online individual donations platform for the public to continue the generous outpouring of support for residents and businesses affected by the Marshall Fires and High Winds disaster. The platform called DART (website: https://dart-co.communityos.org/ ) is meant to serve as a focal point for organizations and the public to connect effectively and directly to assist people who continue to be affected by displacement and damage from the fires.

This portal is for members of the public offering donations of goods and services. Once a donor registration is complete, the donor may input descriptions and quantities of individual donations. These will be seen and ‘claimed’ by vetted organizations who are given access through the newly-created Marshall Fires Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG) and collaborating partners.

Currently, only offers of donated goods and services are active on the DART platform. In the coming weeks, organizations will be added so they may ‘claim’ donations on behalf of residents and businesses in their case management portfolios. Other organizations acting in auxiliary roles may request access later in February.

All participating individuals who previously offered a donation through the Boulder or Longmont Chambers of Commerce, or the Office of Emergency Management donations button are encouraged to input information in the DART system if the donation is still available. We continue to be heartened by the care and generosity of our greater Boulder County community and the Front Range region.

The State of Colorado continues to operate the Boulder Fire Donation and Resource Center at the Flatirons Mall for survivors to pick up items. This center is only accepting bulk donations at this time and they must be scheduled in advance for drop-off during business hours.

Agency partners include State of Colorado, Colorado Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (COVOAD), the Marshall Fires Long-Term Recovery Group (MFLTRG), Boulder County, the cities of Louisville and Superior, Spark the Change Colorado, Visionlink and a host of other organizations working on behalf of residents and businesses affected by the fires.
