Program Summary:
Jules Van Thuyne, a long-time tenant farmer on Boulder County Parks and Open Space, can not harvest his pinto beans due to a weed that is in the cut rows of bean plants. The weed is plugging up the combine harvester. They are almost at a standstill.
The need is for volunteers to walk along the rows of pinto beans and pull out the cut weeds out of the windows and toss them aside. On one of our most beautiful ag properties….Ludlow Farm on Oxford Road one half mile east of 287, north side of road.
