Public Comment requested for Boulder County Traffic Crash Analysis of Draft Vision Zero Plan
Progress toward the Vision Zero target will be tracked in the Traffic Crash Analysis
Boulder County, Colo. - As part of Boulder County’s 2020 Transportation Master Plan Update, Boulder County established a Vision Zero target to eliminate major injury and fatal traffic crashes in unincorporated Boulder County by 2035. Boulder County’s progress towards the Vision Zero target will be tracked in a Traffic Crash Analysis, which will be Part One of the Vision Zero Plan.
The Traffic Crash Analysis reviews crashes from 2009 to 2018 on roads in unincorporated Boulder County and the four incorporated mountain towns in western Boulder County, which are Lyons, Jamestown, Nederland, and Ward. The plan analyzes crashes on Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) highways, Boulder County roads, and local roads within the four mountain towns.
