The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Friday, Dec. 19, in anticipation of Friday’s powerful and potentially damaging Boulder County wind event. This alert indicates that conditions are extreme and pose a significant risk for fire weather. Sign-up for alerts.

Power outages may last 24 to 72 hours, and possibly longer depending on weather conditions and required safety inspections before power can be restored.
