Program Summary:
Join us for a day of invasive tree removal! This shrub tree, native to Eurasia and North Africa, was originally introduced to Colorado as a windbreak and erosion control species along riverbanks and railroads. Tamarix, otherwise known as saltcedar, spreads rapidly because it is highly adaptable to disturbed, saline, and drought-prone soils, and tolerates poor conditions.
There are two invasive tree removal events in October. Sign up for one day or join us for both!

Application Process:
Registration is required through Discover Boulder County, Parks & Open Space’s volunteer and event registration system. If you’re new to the system, you’ll need to create an account. But it’s easy and we only use your contact information to communicate about events you register for. We will never sell or give your information to a third party.
