Program Summary:
Native seeds are specially adapted to our local environment and play a crucial role in bolstering habitat, supporting wildlife, and maintaining healthy food webs. They are the foundation of the restoration work we do, and much of that seed is collected by volunteers like you.
Now we need your help with the next step: cleaning and preparing the seed so it can be stored safely and used efficiently on the landscape. Seed cleaning is simple, hands-on, and surprisingly satisfying, and it makes a real difference in our ability to restore native habitat.
Whether you are a seasoned volunteer or trying this for the first time, we’d love to have you join us!
Registration is required through Discover Boulder County, Parks & Open Space’s volunteer and event registration system. If you’re new to the system, you’ll need to create an account. But it’s easy and we only use your contact information to communicate about events you register for. We will never sell or give your information to a third party.
