Program Summary:
Celebrate Halloween with Boulder County Parks & Open Space. We’re hosting our final trail work volunteer event of the year at the ever-popular Hall Ranch. Join us as we clear trail drainages to help keep the path in good condition. Our mission is to divert water off the trail by digging drains to mitigate erosion. We’ll use a variety of hand tools, including pick-mattocks, McLeods and shovels. With your help, we hope to reduce mud and prevent future trail damage.
Costumes are encouraged; just be prepared to get whatever you’re wearing covered in dirt and sweat!
Registration is required through Discover Boulder County, Parks & Open Space’s volunteer and event registration system. If you’re new to the system, you’ll need to create an account. But it’s easy and we only use your contact information to communicate about events you register for. We will never sell or give your information to a third party.
