Boulder County Community Protection Division

Investigates and pursues complaints on behalf of consumers, and also takes a lead role in prosecuting cases involving abuse or exploitation of vulnerable members of the community.

Death Certificates

Boulder County Public Health issues death certificates for persons who died in Boulder County during the years 1880 to present.

Emergency Mass Notification System

Boulder County Sheriff utilizes an emergency notification system that allows residents of the county and all cities within to be notified of emergency situations. Notifications can be received via cell, home and work phones, and by text messaging and/or email.

Community Academy

The Sheriff’s Office Community Academy is a 23 week course providing an overview of various law enforcement topics. The program explains the different aspects of police work using classroom discussions and hands-on demonstrations.
