The Treasurer’s office in Lafayette is closed for the year. You can visit us on Mondays at our Longmont office or Monday through Friday at our office in Boulder. The Lafayette office will reopen around the end of January next year.

We have partnered with Official Payments to offer payment of property taxes electronically.

You can pay your taxes online or over the phone with:

  • Electronic checks (e-checks)
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • MasterCard
  • Visa
  • Debit cards

In our office, we accept personal and business checks, cash, cashier’s checks, and money orders, as well as credit and debit cards.

Is there a fee?

If you pay with an e-check, there is no charge to you for the service. Our processor charges a fee for card payments.

If you choose to mail us a payment, do not include cash. Checks and money orders should be made payable to “Boulder County Treasurer.”
