If you receive SNAP benefits (food assistance), you may be eligible for the Employment First Program. We’ll work with you one-on-one to help you build skills, find work, or go back to school. We can also connect you to local programs and services that support your job search, education, and basic needs.

We can help pay for GED classes and testing.

- Work clothes or uniforms
- Eyeglasses or other supplies
Accessing Community Resources
We’ll help you find local services like food, housing, and health care.
Personalized Coaching
We’ll connect you with a Support Specialist who can help you set goals, make a plan, and stay on track.

Become a Workfare Site
Are you a nonprofit or government group that can host someone for volunteer work or training?
Boulder County is looking for new Workfare partners. Workfare is a short-term, structured volunteer placement for people in the Employment First program. The goal is to help participants build work experience, improve job skills, and move toward steady, long-term employment.

Become a Third-Party Partner
Are you a college, community organization, or other group that provides job training or employment services?
We’re looking for new Third-Party Partners to support people receiving SNAP (food assistance). Third-Party Partners help participants meet work requirements and build skills for future jobs.
