These programs can help you pay your bills and get back on your feet.

  • The Colorado Works/Temporary Aid to Needy Families (TANF) helps people become self-sufficient by strengthening the economic and social stability of families. This includes monthly cash benefits, help with emergency household costs, and/or services such as counseling and job training.
  • The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) provides financial assistance to eligible low-income families who need child care to support their efforts toward self-sufficiency. CCAP provides benefits for children from birth to age 12.
  • The Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program) provides health and dental coverage for low-income families including children, adults, pregnant women, people who are blind or disabled, and the elderly.
