Take a walk with a Boulder County Commissioner: Claire Levy

Description

Register to walk with Commissioner Claire Levy Friday, May 16, 9 – 10 a.m. at Walden Ponds Wildlife Habitat (3893 N 75th Street, Boulder).

These walks are a chance to chat with a commissioner less formally and have a one-on-one conversation (time permitting). Participants must make their own travel arrangements to the walks.

• “Know before you go." Remember to plan ahead, know your limits, and do not take unnecessary risks.

• Enjoy and protect shared public lands. Remember to “Leave No Trace” and pack out all trash and dog waste.

• Be courteous and inclusive. People have different reasons for visiting shared public lands and everyone deserves respect and courtesy while recreating outdoors.

• Do not park illegally at trailheads. If trailhead is full, make sure to park only on roads where parking is permitted.
