These sessions allow commissioners and staff to explore issues, ask questions, and consider options in a collaborative setting. The commissioners do not generally take formal action or vote during a work session. No public testimony will be taken. The meeting recording will act as the minutes. Open public comment addressed to the County Commissioners typically occurs at 9 a.m. on the first Thursday of the month unless the date falls on a holiday or needs to be rescheduled due to a calendar conflict.* Members of the public can sign up to speak in advance or on the day of public comment. Public comment is taken in-person (in the hearing room) or virtually via Zoom. Check the Commissioners' Advance Agenda to confirm meeting date one week prior to regularly scheduled date. Reserve a speaking spot using the either the "In Person" or "Virtual Attendee" link on the Commissioners' Advance Agenda. Day of Public Comment: Visit the Open Meeting Portal to find the link to join (or sign up to speak) virtually. Each speaker (up to 10 people) will be able to give public comment to the commissioners for three minutes each. Public Meeting: Boulder County Housing Authority Moving to Work Supplement to Annual Plan Staff Contacts: Kelly Schulz Location - Hybrid: Hearing Room and Zoom Webinar Boulder County Housing Authority: Moving to Work Supplement to Annual Plan; Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA): This hearing is the conclusion of the 45-day comment period for the public to make comments on Boulder County Housing Authority’s 2027 Moving To Work (MTW) Supplement to the Annual Plan, for the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). As a Public Housing Agency (PHA), BCHA is required to submit an annual plan to HUD every year 75 days before the start of our fiscal year which is considered January 1. The MTW Supplement to the Annual PHA Plan describes the reporting requirements for MTW Expansion PHAs and will be submitted once per year as part of the standard PHA Plan process. MTW Expansion PHAs will indicate the MTW activities they intend to implement from the list of MTW Waivers provided in the MTW Operations Notice.
