Hay is for Horses (and other livestock): Hay Selection and Feeding Tips

Description

It’s about time to buy hay for winter feeding. Generally, feed is the largest cost for horse and livestock owners, and the quality of feed greatly affects animal health and production. Look at, touch, and smell different types and qualities of hay with corresponding lab analyses. We will cover what to look for when purchasing hay, hay quality, and best feeding practices.

Registration for most programs begins on the 20th of the month before the event.

Registration required.
