Dragons & Damsels Hike

Description

Join volunteer naturalists on a field experience that builds on the Dragons & Damsels slideshow program and search for those colorful gems flying over ponds and streams. Learn how to observe dragonflies and their damselfly cousins, including their acrobatic flying, huge multi-faceted eyes, convoluted mating schemes, and behavioral quirks. Bring your binoculars and camera!

Registration for most programs begins on the 20th of the month before the event.

Registration is required through Discover Boulder County, Parks & Open Space’s volunteer and event registration system. If you’re new to the system, you'll need to create an account.
