Community Planning & Permitting Department Docket LU-22-0032: OSMP North Sky Trail Construction
Limited Impact Special Use Review to permit 37,936 cubic yards of non-foundational earthwork for the construction of a 3.5-mile trail between the Foothills and Joder Trailheads, including three pedestrian bridges, several drainage crossings, and habitat restoration. The proposal is submitted by Adam Gaylord c/o City of Boulder Open Space & Mountain Parks (applicant/property owner) and is in the Agricultural (A) and Light Industrial (LI) zoning districts along a 3.5-mile path between the Foothills and Joder Trailheads in Sections 1, 12, 25, and 36, Townships 1N and 2N, Range 71W. Foothills Trailhead is located at 5273 North Broadway, approximately .2 miles north of the southernmost intersection of North Broadway and US 36. Joder Trailhead is located on a private road on the west side of US 36 approximately 150 feet north of the intersection of US 36 and Neva Road.
