Fun on the Farm: Wiggle Worms

Agricultural Heritage Center 8348 Ute Hwy, Longmont

Children ages 3-6 will love to visit the farm to learn about animals, plants, and agricultural life. Worms do important work on the farm. Come learn about the worms that live in our garden! All programs include a short story time, hands-on activities, and a take-home craft. Afterwards, explore the farm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration for most programs begins on the 20th of the month before the event. Registration is not required for this activity, but you can still sign up to be notified in case the event is unexpectedly canceled. This event is canceled due to heat, wind, and the ban on open burning. Drop by anytime from 10 a.m. to noon to watch the blacksmith work his craft. Listen to the clang-clang-clang of the hammer and the hum of the coal forge blower. Learn about blacksmithing tools, such as hammers, tongs, anvils, swage blocks, and more.
