Wildfire Partners Hosts Fuels Mitigation Grant Workshop

Join Meg Halford and Vicky Reinold from Wildfire Partner's Strategic Fuels Mitigation Grant Program, along with presenters from CSFS and CO DNR for an interactive session on how to develop and write competitive grants for fuels mitigation projects. Whether you're a fire protection district, community organization, or local government agency, this workshop will provide valuable insights on successfully navigating the grant application process. BOCC Town Hall (Gross Reservoir/Coal Creek Canyon) – All County Residents Invited

Gross Reservoir/Coal Creek Canyon Community Meeting and Town Hall Date: Tuesday, June 17 Time: 5:30-7 p.m. Location: Coal Creek Canyon Community Center, 31528 CO-72, Golden, CO 80403 No RSVP Required. The meeting will be conducted in person (no virtual option). Purpose: Residents are invited to join the Boulder County Commissioners for a Town Hall to discuss any topics related to Boulder County. Monthly Town Hall Meetings The Boulder County Commissioners hold in-person town hall meetings (roughly monthly) in different locations around the county to meet with county residents and discuss topics of interest for the local community. Residents who cannot attend are always welcome to email the commissioners at commissioners@bouldercounty.gov with questions or to request materials shared at the event. This fun and informative presentation explores the history, ecology, social structure, life cycle, behavior, and language of this keystone species — a true pillar of the prairie.
