Pride in the Parks: Birding Wetlands

This program is for anyone who enjoys looking at birds or simply wants something fun and different to do outdoors. We welcome those who identify as LGBTQIA+, allies, families, or anyone who wants to enjoy an inclusive outdoor experience. This will be a slow hike covering 1.5 miles on a wide, relatively flat trail. This free event is for all ages and skill levels — no prior birdwatching experience necessary. Loaner optics will be provided. Near Boulder. Location provided upon registration. Registration for most programs begins on the 20th of the month before the event. Registration required. Register Registration is required through Discover Boulder County, Parks & Open Space’s volunteer and event registration system. If you’re new to the system, you'll need to create an account. But it’s easy and we only use your contact information to communicate about events you register for. We will never sell or give your information to a third party.

Wildfire Partners at the Community Forestry Sort Yards for Wildfire Awareness Days

Join Wildfire Partners at the Meeker Park (Allenspark) Community Forestry Sort Yard for Wildfire Awareness Days. Meet local fire crews, emergency response crews, wildfire mitigation specialists, foresters, and water conservation organizations, and attend for a chance to win a prize! The event is free and open to the public.
