The proposed 11 mile bikeway will provide separation from motorized traffic between Boulder and Lyons to improve safety. The final report contains conceptual level alignment of the bikeway, additional analysis, needed, next steps, anticipated construction costs, and some cost reduction options. CO 119 Diagonal Highway Safety, Mobility and Bikeway Project Updates Webinar, Tuesday, August 13, 6-7:30 p.m.Register To Attend The Colorado Department of Transportation, the Regional Transportation District, Boulder County and the cities of Boulder and Longmont are implementing safety and mobility improvements along CO 119 (also known as the Diagonal Highway) that will make traveling through the corridor safer for all modes, as well as faster and more reliable for public transit.
