Parks & Open Space Advisory Committee (POSAC) Site Visit

The Boulder County Parks & Open Space Advisory Committee (POSAC) will attend a site visit on Saturday, July 20, starting at 8 a.m. This trip will take approximately 2.5 hours. This is a Rocky Mountain Greenway Trail overview and Coalton Trail bike ride. The purpose of the field trip is to provide POSAC members with information about the Rocky Mountain Greenway Trail and its connection into Boulder County via the Coalton rail. This trip is appropriate for those ages 13 and up. Space is limited. Members of the public wishing to accompany committee members on the site visit will need to register to attend. This site visit will not provide an opportunity for formal public comment. The tour is informational only and POSAC will not vote on matters related to this item.

Nepali Jatra in downtown Longmont

Staff from Boulder County will host information tables at this year's Nepali Jatra in Longmont on Saturday, July 20, 5 to 7 p.m. in Longmont. Nepali Jatra is a showcase of rich Nepali culture and heritage and an opportunity to learn about a centuries-old tradition that is still practiced today. The Nepali Jatra features Lakhey dance with live traditional music. Enjoy cultural dance performances from multiple ethnic groups and their costumes, exhibits, Nepal crafts, and more.
