Join us as we explore the central role that pollinating insects and their habitats play in functioning ecosystems. On our hike along the creek, we’ll gain a better understanding of how important pollinators are. For they are crucial to the lives of humans and other wildlife, from songbirds to bears. Registration for most programs begins on the 20th of the month before the event. Registration required. Summer Catfish Night is an opportunity for anglers to fish at night when Stearns Lake is usually closed. Bring your family and friends and enjoy a summer night fishing at the lake! • Anglers must have current Colorado fishing license (kids under 16 years don’t need a license) • Open to shore fishing only • Artificial and live bait permitted • Check-in required at the trailhead on South 104th Street Registration not required. Event will not be canceled due to rain. Note: access the trailhead from Dillon Road on South 104th Street. You cannot get to the trailhead from 287 through Rock Creek Farm.
